I’m not sure why, but it seems like most of my original songs are sad songs about a broken relationship. Something about a sad song and the ache of lost love that just feels good to sing about.

Find your voice
I only just started to find out that I had a voice worth using in the Spring of 2023 when I started taking lessons from Eric Arceneaux. I was looking for an understanding of chest voice, head voice and falsetto and found one of Eric’s videos which was a beautiful description of how they sound, how they feel and the physiology of how they are produced. He teaches private lessons and I’m privileged to be his student.
I can’t recommend his lessons strongly enough, no matter whether you are a PRO or just someone who likes to sing in the shower. His techniques will open you up in a way would not expect—trust me on this— it’s totally like a Mr. Miyagi/Karate Kid experience.
